Welcome to JULS Art & School.
At JULS Art & School, every handmade piece is created with care, creativity and attention to detail. Whether you are enquiring about a custom-made piece of jewellery, booking one of our creative workshops or exploring our website, we want your experience to be enjoyable, transparent and inspiring.
These Terms & Conditions explain how we work, how custom orders are handled, and what you can expect when using our website or purchasing our products and services.
By accessing or using this website, contacting us or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.
JULS Art & School is an independent creative studio based in Agia Marina, Chania, Crete, Greece.
We specialise in handmade jewellery, custom-made jewellery, creative workshops and handcrafted decorative items.
Every item is created with care using quality materials and traditional handmade techniques. Because each piece is individually crafted, slight variations are part of the unique character of handmade work.
Custom orders are accepted only after all design details, materials, dimensions, colours, price, estimated production time and any other relevant specifications have been agreed upon in writing between the customer and JULS Art & School.
A quotation, design discussion, email correspondence, WhatsApp conversation or exchange of ideas does not constitute acceptance of an order.
An order is considered officially accepted only after:
Until these conditions have been met, JULS Art & School reserves the right to decline or postpone any order.
A standard deposit of 50% of the total order value is required before production of any custom-made jewellery begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The deposit confirms the customer’s intention to proceed with the order and allows production to begin.
The deposit may be refunded if the customer cancels the order before production has commenced, provided that no non-recoverable costs have been incurred specifically for that order.
Production is considered to have commenced when JULS Art & School begins preparing materials, sourcing special components, developing the agreed design or starting the handmade production process.
Once production has commenced, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If exceptional circumstances arise before production begins, JULS Art & School reserves the right to decline or cancel an order. In such cases, any deposit already paid will be refunded in full.
Before production begins, customers may request changes to the agreed design.
Any requested changes may result in an adjustment to the quoted price, production time or both.
All modifications must be agreed upon in writing before production starts.
Once production has commenced, changes may only be accepted at the sole discretion of JULS Art & School and only where they are technically possible.
If approved, additional charges and revised production times may apply.
If the requested changes would require the creation of a completely new piece or make the original design no longer feasible, JULS Art & School reserves the right to decline the requested changes.
Every custom design is created individually for each customer. We encourage customers to carefully review all agreed specifications before confirming their order to ensure that the final design reflects their expectations.
Production times vary depending on the complexity of the design, the availability of materials and our current workload.
For most custom orders, the estimated production time is between 5 and 20 business days.
More complex projects may require additional time. In such cases, the estimated production schedule will be discussed and agreed with the customer before production begins.
While every effort is made to complete each order within the estimated timeframe, production times are estimates only and may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a delay occurs, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and provide an updated estimated completion date.
At JULS Art & School, every effort is made to complete each order within the estimated production timeframe.
However, unexpected circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally affect production. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, serious illness, accidents, natural disasters, interruptions to essential services or other unforeseen events.
If such circumstances arise, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible, explain the situation and provide an updated estimated completion date.
If, in exceptional circumstances, we are unable to complete the order, we will discuss the available options with the customer, including an appropriate refund where applicable.
We are committed to communicating openly and working together with our customers to find a fair and reasonable solution.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all prices are quoted in Euro (€).

For custom orders, the remaining balance must be paid before the order is shipped or, where agreed, upon collection from our physical store.
Payment instructions will be provided to the customer after the order has been confirmed.

Every piece created by JULS Art & School is handmade with care, creativity and attention to detail.
The natural characteristics of gemstones, freshwater pearls, shells, wood, fabrics and other materials, together with the handmade production process, mean that every piece is unique.
Small variations in colour, texture, shape, size, pattern, finish or other natural characteristics are not defects but an essential part of handmade craftsmanship.
Photographs displayed on this website are intended to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in lighting, photography and screen settings, colours may appear slightly different from the actual product.
These natural variations contribute to the individuality and beauty of each handmade creation.
Every piece of jewellery created by JULS Art & School is handmade with care and is intended to be enjoyed for many years.
Proper care will help preserve its beauty and extend its lifespan.
To help maintain your jewellery, we recommend that you:
Failure to follow these care recommendations may result in normal wear or damage that is not considered a manufacturing defect.
JULS Art & School provides a six (6) month warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date the customer receives the jewellery.
This warranty applies only to defects resulting from faults in craftsmanship or assembly.
The warranty does not cover:
If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs together with a description of the issue.
Each request will be reviewed individually and, where covered by this warranty, we will offer repair or another appropriate solution.
We understand that handmade jewellery often becomes a treasured personal item.
Whenever reasonably possible, JULS Art & School is pleased to offer repair services for jewellery created by our studio, even after the warranty period has expired.
Repair availability, repair costs and completion times depend on the condition of the jewellery, the nature of the damage and the availability of replacement materials.
Customers are kindly asked to contact us before sending any jewellery for repair.
Repair services provided after the warranty period may be subject to additional charges.
Whenever possible, we will always aim to restore your jewellery with the same care and attention with which it was originally created.
